1What this website collects

No cookies. No advertising trackers. No analytics identifiers. The site keeps anonymous aggregate counters only — for example "the scan page was viewed 14 times on 14 July" or "3 people completed the scan today". We do not record who you are, your IP address, your device, or anything that could link activity to you.

2The readiness scan

Your answers are processed entirely inside your browser and are never transmitted to us. If you complete the scan, a single anonymous counter increments (completion and result band only — never your answers or score tied to you). If you choose "Copy my results" or email us, you control what you share.

3If you email us

Emails to daniel@bidcrier.co.uk naturally contain your name, address and whatever you include. We use them only to reply and provide the service you asked about. We don't add you to marketing lists, and we don't share or sell your details.

4Tender documents you send us

Documents sent for a paid analysis are treated as confidential, used only to produce your analysis, never used to train AI models, never shared with third parties beyond the processing needed to deliver the service, and deleted on request at any time — just ask. Tender documents and personal information are never stored in our source-code repositories.

5Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email daniel@bidcrier.co.uk and we'll act on it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

6Ordering and payments

When you place an order we store your name, email, company and the tender details you give us — only to deliver the service. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe's hosted checkout under its own privacy terms: your card details go to Stripe, never to us, and we never see or store them. Order records are kept out of our source code and deleted on request like everything else.

7Hosting

This site is hosted on Netlify, whose infrastructure may process technical connection data (like IP addresses) to serve pages and prevent abuse, under its own privacy terms. We don't receive or store that data.

This notice is written to be honest and readable rather than exhaustive legalese. If anything here is unclear, ask and we'll answer straight.
